Fall Protection Equipment Inspector
The Fall Protection Equipment Inspector course is designed for anyone who is working at heights, and anyone who is required to inspect fall protection equipment. This course is designed to give all students the knowledge base to inspect fall protection equipment and make educated decisions whether equipment is suitable for use or needs to be removed from service.
Topics covered:
- Applicable fall protection inspection regulations
- Inspection of the following:
- Anchorage connectors
- Snaphooks and Carabiners
- Lanyards
- Full Body Harnesses
- Work positioning Systems
- Rope
- SRL’s and specialty systems
- Documentation methods/recording and logging of inspections
- This course includes both classroom and hands on activities, including both a written and practical exam.
- Upon completion of the course each student will be provided a certificate and wallet card acknowledging that they successfully completed the competent person course that meets and exceeds the OSHA and ANSI requirements for training.
Course length: 0.5 Day 4 Hours
Course Hours are 8am-4:30pm at our training facility located at:
670 Allendale Dr. Port Allen, La 70767.
- Lunch will be provided from 11:30-12:00.
- Dress code for training is safety toed shoes, long pants and short sleeve shirt.
- Equipment will be provided for the hands on activities, but please bring gloves.
