Confined Space Entrant Supervisor / Rescuer
The Confined Space Entrant Supervisor/Rescuer course is designed anyone who supervise, access or perform rescue in a confined space. This course is designed to give all students the knowledge base to Define a confined space, understand hazards associate with confined space and ways to mitigate those hazards as well as utilize pre-engineered rescue equipment and techniques for safe and timely rescues. Students will be required to actively participate in practical rescue scenarios. Prerequisite: Competent Person.

Applicable confined space regulations
Defining a Confined Space
Assessment of fall hazards to determine rescue methods
Managing work permits
Managing reclassifying of a confined space
Implement isolation strategies
Selection and use of confined space equipment both fall protection and rescue
Ventilation techniques
Proper use of gas monitoring devices
Defining roles and responsibilities for confined space
Preparing for a confined space entry
Managing and developing confined space rescue plans
Assessment of associated risks with confined space rescue
Conduct a non-entry confined space rescue
Conduct an entry rescue
Basic rescue and emergency response procedures
This course includes both classroom and hands on activities, including both a written and practical exam. Upon completion of the course each student will be provided a certificate and wallet card acknowledging that they successfully completed the competent person course that meets and exceeds the OSHA and ANSI requirements for training.
Course Length- 3 Days, 24 Hours
Course Hours are 8am-4:30pm at our training facility located at 670 Allendale Dr. Port Allen, La 70767.
Lunch will be provided from 11:30-12:00.
Dress code for training is safety toed shoes, long pants and short sleeve shirt.
Equipment will be provided for the hands on activities, but please bring gloves.
