Authorized Person
The Authorized Person course is designed for anyone who is working at heights. This course is designed to give all students the knowledge base to have a working understanding of personal fall arrest and rescue equipment.
Topics covered:
- Fall hazard recognition
- Fall hazard elimination and control measures
- Applicable fall protection regulations
- The responsibilities of designated persons under the standards
- Inspection of equipment components and systems
- How to use written fall protection procedures
- Fall protection rescue procedures
This course includes both classroom and hands on activities, including both a written and practical exam. Upon completion of the course each student will be provided a certificate and wallet card acknowledging that they successfully completed the Authorized person course that meets and exceeds the OSHA and ANSI requirements for training.
Course Length- 1 Day, 8 Hours
Course Hours are 8am-4:30pm at our training facility located at:
670 Allendale Dr. Port Allen, La 70767.
- Lunch will be provided from 11:30-12:00.
- Dress code for training is safety toed shoes, long pants and short sleeve shirt.
- Equipment will be provided for the hands on activities, but please bring gloves.
