Rescue Backup Device

The Rescue Backup Device is a great tool that can be released from the ground, or a higher level. Its main use is as a backup used similar to an SRL, ideal in situations when cable can’t be used. But it also works as a rescue device used to help lower someone to the ground.

The device’s similar function as a SRL is that the RP430 unit locks up if a certain lowering speed is exceeded.
