Guardrails are a barrier type fall prevention/fall protection method for edges or gaps of all sorts, there are many types and sizes for many different uses.
At Webb Rite Safety we can manufacture them to fit our customer’s needs, whether they are modular or custom made for specific situations.
Permanent guardrails
Attached to a roof, a wall, a platform, or other structure, our permanent guardrails can fit any fall protection barrier need that needs to set in place permanently.
Non-penetrating guardrails
Whether you can’t make penetrations to the roof or structure, don’t want to make penetrations, or you need to be able to move your guardrail, a ballasted guardrail is a great solution in this case. Its modular design allows it to adapt to different needs
Hatch guardrails
Hatches, access doors, smoke vents, or skylights, all similar types of openings can be protected with different types of guardrails: permanent attached to the curb or the hatch, permanent attached to the roof, or non-penetrating. A safety gate can also be part of the system protecting the hatch. No matter the size of the hatch, or other type of opening, we can fabricate the guardrail to fit any of those needs.
Mezzanine pivot guardrails
This type of guardrail/gate allows easy and safe access to mezzanines during loading and unloading, making sure one side closes when the other opens, thus making the loading and unloading areas fully protected, reducing accidents and injuries. It uses manual swing action to operate and it can be built to fit different opening sizes
